Trying to figure out how to come up with a 'ground' for the electric wire (just until the puppies reach a size where they can not go 'thru' the pickets...then the elec wire can be removed..)
I used the outside outlet...by where the box would be mounted...
and then mounted the box into the mortar lines..and connected the cover back up...and the ground to the box. We then commenced to run the wire around the entire 308' perimeter. We didn't want to 'drill into' the vinyl posts...and knew that the elec wire would soon come up 'once' the puppies grew 'wider'...so we needed a temp solution...but one that was 'removable withOUT scars'........
now that's alot of fencing to 'charge up' so we thought of the 1/2" PVC Pipe trick....small 24" pipes driven into the ground..just before the fence...and drill and run the wires thru them......
here you can see my 'boss's'.....Lucy and Ellie-Mae.....they supervised most all of our work...but never gave us a 'treat' for excellent quality.....
Well...that's not true...we had to stop every hour for 'playtime'.....or was it 'time-out' for us...???? hummmm,
and the Final Test of the Electric Fence....yes, we had a human laboratory subject........none other than our apprentice Tiffany... I promised her that it wouldn't shock her...... well, you know the rest!
