As we found the roof (from the above pics)

This is a property in Crestview...where the owner reported a 'stain' in his ceiling by the Main Entry....and asked us to come and investigate....

After looking at the stain on the inside....I put the ladder on the roof, and had already 'guessed' what might be causing the problem....do you notice the 'dip' in the roof shingles..?

Believe it or not..this is a common occurance on the new designs of Grand Foyers...with a Intersecting Room just above the main entry. These roofs contain (2) valleys, one on the left..and one on the right...which if NOT flashed correctly, can lead to terrible problems below...

The evidence of a problem? This is what the owner saw.... We proposed to remove the shingles and roof deck...and see if we could investigate a mold problem from the top of the sheetrock...instead of tearing up the ceiling and having to repair the 'scar' afterwards.........
