Chad cut back the sheetrock to a square configuragion..and put 'kickers' inbetween the joists and screwed the old sheetrock to them for a smooth seam....
then he put in the insulation in 'batts' with the vapor barrier built in....
and inserted the new sheetrock....
He then coated the door jamb and casing with a fresh coat of SemiGloss White ...
and sprayed a 'knockdown' or 'Spanish Lace' texture onto the ceiling to match the old pattern...
