Painting an Addition

This is the way we found it on a rainy day....see the water pouring off the roof

'seeing stars in front of my eyes...!!!' Nope, that's wet..!

pouring down.........

Quick bid...with a discount for a Hard Working family......and we start the process with the Kilz2 that they provided us...which is a latex-based Sealer/Primer. We shot the siding with our Airless Machine......and the Backrolled the paint with 3/4" rollers...to ensure that the paint absorbed into the grain.........

we worked around the addition, protecting and spraying/rolling..........

see how the sun is bake'ing on the siding. If you do NOT backroll, the primer will skin over......and in 2 months, the paint will all peel back off...or curl off the siding....

Now we start spreading the finish coat.........the entire crew worked like Tasmanian Devils to be able to accomplish this in one day.........you know what they say about Florida..."if you don't like the weather...wait 5 minutes...."

slamming paint..........
looking like a whole new place now...
