Cracked Tub

"Help...my tub is cracked....they want $2,950 to replace the tub......"

We hear that all the time. The 1-piece built in tubs are made of Fiberglass....and when a Corvette 'cracks', you can bet they don't cut it up and throw it in the Dumpster...!!!!!"

What do you do...? You meticulously 'fix it'......just like a Corvette!

Here is the crack in the tub...must have been an Air Pocket in the mold when they poured it....there is the big chip by the drain...

...and the little chips just above the drain....

we taped off the damaged areas....sanded them to remove the 'glaze' off the fiberglass....applied the 3 coats of A/B Fiberglass Epoxy (5-minute flash-time)..

and then sanded....painted...

and "Taaaaaaa-Daaaaaaaaaa"......now how much did that cost...? They wanted $2,950 to remove and replace the tub...??????
