Day 2 of the Gatlinburg 'getaway' in the Smokies!

Our adventure into the Great Smoky Mountain National Park was fantastic! God inspired! We took a 1.3 mile hike up to the top of Lynn Falls at quite an incline.....the girls showed me p (as usual...but hey, someone has to be the caboose!)

Summer and Tanis are such troopers. They actually continued the journey up the mountain....EVEN THO they lost CellPhone service! Now THAT's dedication! Naaa, actually I think they were quite amazed by the mountain scenery.

I did warn them about the sign highlighted in Yellow......"closely control children". I did tell them that it concerned all areas of their life... tee hee

and WHAT is this...a Miller Lite Beer found roaming in the bear-habitat! We were warned about the attacking beers at the visitor center... Now why is Summer staring so intently at that beer...?
